In 1968 three brothers began a “hawker trade”, visiting individual stores to sell their product. It wasn’t long before this “informal” business became DB Cash & Carry. In February 1972, the first formal store began trading opposite the Lenasia Civic Centre- redefining the concept of a confectionary store, in that era.

In 1980, a larger branded store was introduced into the market.

By 2006, we outgrew that premises and opened a brand new hyper store with 2000 square metres of retail trading space and a further 3200 square metres of wholesale trading space.

With a dedicated staff compliment of 60 personnel, we strive to serve our community and clientele, with a distinct objective to satisfy and serve every patron that visits our store. We are constantly and actively involved in passing our skills to the staff and inviting new ideas, as we prepare each day for an exciting future ahead.

We are constantly involved in registered and approved community campaigns; DB Cash & Carry has become a household name and we have only our customers to thank.
